Residents of Bwaise Jambula Zone Kawempe Division, Kampala City under their leaders and Kampala Capital City Authority have today joined hands in cleaning their area in order to promote sanitation in a program named “WEYONJE”
It’s remembered that Kawempe division has many slums such as Bwaise, Katanga and Kalerwe which makes it’s difficult to have good sanitation. It is for this reason, that leadership of the area and KCCA have decided to join the residents to clean in order to have a safe environment.
Nankya Ruth and Mubiru Dan who represent the residents of Bwaise one and two have appreciated the program and have appealed to residents always to put the garbage in a directed area not to drop them wherever they see

In the sameway Katende Yokana who is the Chief of Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Mwenda Mutebi in Kyandondo, Kawempe Division appealed to residents to listen to the call of Kabaka who wants his subjects to be safe and live in a healthy environment.
